Ashdod Refinery has been generating electricity for a variety of customers since 2009. Our customers get to purchase cleaner and cheaper electricity, compared to that produced by IEC.
- Two generation units with a total capacity of 109 MW.
- Generation by natural gas only.
- Energy efficiency of over 80%.
Purchasing electricity from the Ashdod refinery does not require any infrastructural change and does not cause any change in the continuous electricity supply. The only change is a significant saving in the cost of electricity consumption!
